one drop cool
nina, may, and cooper have been best friends and roommates for over a decade when a *spicy* family secret threatens to unravel their friendship. unfolding in real time, one drop cool is a comedy about how we see our friends, how we see ourselves, and how the american notion of race can be, frankly, ridiculous.
one drop cool was developed through the Moxie Arts NY incubator program and received a festival presentation in june 2023 at WP theater. it also had an informal reading at MCC in january 2024. complete development history here

at the onset of the apocalypse, a mysterious figure called T.A.R. buried a treasure and published a cryptic poem containing the clues to find it. 100 years later, five siblings reunite after the death of their TAR treasure obsessed patriarch and excavate their shared and very separate past.
